Azure Handspun Scarf

This striking scarf has been created with love and a combination of natural cream Australian Alpaca yarn from 'The Fibre of the Gods' right here in WA, and my own handspun yarn. The blue and turquoise yarns are a mixture of Merino & English Leicester Wools, along with unbleached Tussah Silk, and were spun by hand on my mini-Turkish spindle, and then crocheted  with the cream alpaca yarn to produce a simple yet stunning scarf which will compliment many outfits, both casual and a bit more dressy.
Please note that due to the handcrafted characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight inconsistencies in thickness and ply, but this is an endearing part of the charm of handspun yarn and ensures that this piece is truly one of a kind.
Please also note that due to the slightly coarser nature of English Leicester Wool, this item may not be suitable for those with skin sensitivities. 
 
The scarf is adorned with a simple wooden Spindle & Spool button making it an eco-conscious option, as both the fibres and button are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years.
