Blueberry Scarf

This stunning handspun scarf is made with a blend of Hand-dyed (by Martien van Zuilen) Fine Merino and Mulberry Silk in gorgeous blues and purples which remind me of the various stages of growing blueberries. Handspun by me on my Ashford spinning wheel and then handwoven to create a lovely textured, slim scarf that is completely unique and will keep you warm and cosy without the added bulk of a thick scarf. 
 
The scarf is adorned with a simple wooden Spindle & Spool button making it an eco-conscious option, as both the fibres and button are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years, rather than adding to the enormous problem of textile waste produced by the mass made fashion industry.
