Blueberry Cowl

This stunning handspun cowl is made with a blend of Hand-dyed (by Martien van Zuilen) Fine Merino and Mulberry Silk in gorgeous blues and purples which remind me of the various stages of growing blueberries. Handspun by me on my Ashford spinning wheel and then crocheted to create a lovely textured, snuggly cowl that is completely unique.
 
The cowl is an eco-conscious option, as the fibres are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years, rather than adding to the enormous problem of textile waste produced by the mass made fashion industry.
